The only real issue with this Runeword occurs when you get a very low roll on the Meditation aura. But the Meditation aura is so strong at mid-levels that the small sacrifices are worth it. It shows some of the problems with any compromise, in that it's average but not spectacular at either job. In fact, its other properties show a remarkably good balance between being a caster weapon (for leveling casters) and a melee weapon (for Act II mercenaries). It's also sometimes used in a staff for casters, as it has good Faster Cast Rate. It still works well as a melee weapon for the Mercenary. The Meditation aura can be a game changer, even to Sorceresses who can regenerate mana with Warmth. Insight is most commonly used as a weapon for an Act II Mercenary, as the Meditation aura is an amazing boon for low-to-mid-game characters that struggle with mana-intensive builds and few tools to deal with it.
